Charitable Purposes The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will only register organizations as charities if their purposes are exclusively charitable. An organization's purposes (sometimes called objects) are set out in its governing documents. Proper drafting of charitable purposes is a key step in the process of becoming a registered charity. This Webinar will review charitable purposes, CRA's requirements for them, and sample or model purposes (or objects).
