Canada’s oldest and leading corporate citizenship initiative. The Caring Company Program exists to be the bridge between com­munity-minded companies and their charitable and nonprofit partners.

Companies doing good not only strengthens communities, it also builds brand identity, enhances employee retention and recruitment, and improves public reputation. Community investment is no longer a sideline activity —  today it is considered a key way of doing business!

How it Works

Counting more than 90 Canadian businesses as participants in the Caring Company Program, Imagine Canada recognizes each one as a community investment role model. They lead by example with their commitment to donate a minimum of 1% of pre-tax profit to community organizations.

The First-time Donor’s Super Credit and your next Employee Giving Campaign

The First-time Donor’s Super Credit was announced by the federal government in the 2013 budget. It adds 25 percentage points to the federal charitable tax credit for eligible donors.
